House spent much of the episode in a drug-induced state, hallucinating various people who've meant something throughout his life. It was a way to bring back both Kutner and Amber who've died along the way. He was contemplating allowing himself to die in the burning warehouse he found himself in alongside his most recent patient.

The patient, a proud drug abuser, had been saved by House and his team, but now lay dead next to House. So somebody did die.

Adegan Porno Watch Hot chubby girls movies Video Pussy Afriga. It was a stunner because Kutner killed himself years ago. Kutner, who represented House's innermost thoughts, soon determined that House was suicidal. Kutner wondered why House, with his attraction to puzzles, would ever consider the finality of death. We flashed back to House's latest case, a fellow drug addict whose only real purpose in the story was to be the reason House found himself in a burning home: Soon, Kutner was replaced by another ghostly visage: Amber, Wilson's ex - and a woman whose death House felt responsible for causing. It was an extraordinary return performance by Anne Dudek, who was then replaced by - yet another surprise - Stacy, House's ex played by Sela Ward, whom we haven't seen on the show in a long time. She reminded House of the domestic life he didn't have and we were sadly reminded that Cuddy was not going to appear in this episode. As House experienced something of his own version of "A Christmas Carol," Wilson and Foreman soon discovered he was missing. Despite the fact that the cancer-stricken Wilson - with just months left to live - refused to take the fall for a prank which would lead to House returning to prison, House's best friend searched high and low for him. The two even visited Andre Braugher's Dr. Nolan looking for him. In the meantime, Cameron became the latest figure from House's past to appear to him. This time, she told him to just give up and leave this mortal coil. An unlikely angel of death, to be sure. Soon, however, Cameron's mind was changed, right as Wilson and Foreman arrived. House, still inside the burning building, took one look at Wilson before the place exploded. I wondered if it might end this way. The funeral included just about everyone but Cuddy and Lucas. At this point, it's still sinking in for me. Then, Wilson spoke. After a few moments of faking it, he said it: Finally, Wilson figured out it was his phone: We all know who wrote that. Wilson soon met a very-much-alive House, who was at the point of no return. Having faked his death he ducked out the back and switched out dental records, don't you know , he can certainly never practice medicine again somehow I have the feeling, after everything he's done, he'll find a way. House asked Wilson what he wanted to do with the time he had left. House faked his death to be with his friend in his remaining months. So, one of the darkest series on network TV ended with a hopeful, positive message. Taub found happiness with his family; Cameron - remembering the good times on House's team - had a husband and kid; Chase took his rightful place inheriting House's old job. New additions Park and Adams, by the way, barely got any screentime, which probably says something about how much of an effect their one season had on the show. House and Wilson, meanwhile, were on a bridge on motorcycles. Wilson asked what happens when the cancer gets bad. House responded, "Cancer's boring. That was one gutsy ending, no doubt about it. House's final prank was on Wilson and just about everyone else. The fact that it cut to the core of the series almost erases the extreme implausibility of how House pulled off such a spectacular stunt, not to mention if the trip into his subconscious even mattered, if he was never really suicidal in the first place. Or did he become suicidal on the way to pranking Wilson? Let's face it, "House" always flirted with the realm of pure fantasy more than any series since "St. Elsewhere," so dissecting this is kind of beside the point. And that "House," a unique series for broadcast television, despite its ups and downs, had an incredible run. What did you think of the finale? Share your thoughts on video or comment below. Greatest show I've ever loved! Wish it didn't end, but it was at the right time and place — before it had dragged on too long, but long enough to leave me satisfied: The greatest show in 50 years of watching tv. I will console myself with re-runs and then I will buy the DVD's and hope and pray they do a movie. They were my friends on tv, i think i loved all of them. Salud my friends on tfv. I thought it was well done, though it did leave some questions. And, no, House is not dead as some have commented here. See first question to David Shore on this link. Personally, I thought it sucked. The show really took a dark turn two seasons ago and I pretty much lost interest. I like the notion that everyone can be redeemed, and if they aren't it is just because they are too lazy to chose it. House was a waste of time on tee vee that is better spent watching The Knife Show shopping channel. It's TV, stupid, and house is an amazing show. Nobody cares about what you have to say. House finally realized that he believed in love. Then he rode off with the one he loved — perfect. And pure House. I think, with the two ghosts speaking to him in this episode, he tried to escape - didn't - then appeared to Wilson as Amber and Kutner had to him. I believe my son, also a Virgo attached himself to this actor's "everything Just my humble opinion mind you for what ever it is worth. Not that it's really important, although it may be to Mr. Laurie he is a Gemini as his birthday is June 11th. Just to set the record straight. Won't work! So House and Wilson take off in to the sunset on their motorcycles? He has NO driver's license for if he is pulled over for a traffic violation and cops check it, they'll find he is a dead man. He can't use any of his credit cards, he's a dead man, what about his money in his bank, he leave it and his mom cleaned it out? Or he make it to the bank and withdrew it all as cash? Which means House is broke, has not a penny to his name, guess Wilson will have to pay for everything and if House gets pulled over by a cop, he will get caught for faking his death and end up back in the slammer BEFORE Wilson does dies, so if you look at all that, NO WAY House's prank would have worked, because he can't stay out of trouble and would have gotten caught, haha! Bye, Bye House, wherever you are, have a good one! Or, he'll get a ticket for driving without a license. Your way sounds more plausible though. But Wilson is dieing of cancer and can run up as massive a credit card bill as he wants. Given his salary, he probably has a rather high limit. Did you ever stop to think that House had a will, that left everything to Wilson? Think about it, who else would House have willed everything to? House did care about Wilson.. And since House switched dental records, did you ever think he took up the dead guys persona? House wouldn't care if the dude was a felon or a loser. House didn't have his cane at the end bc he didn't need it. That was his excuse for needing pain pills. At the end he decided to be a better man, without drugs. The writer of this article nailed it, I couldn't have said it any better. I'm not a TV watcher, don't have cable, but House was the one show that I just couldn't miss, for some reason I really cared about this person that didn't even exist! Cudos to the writers for the development of such great characters, and to the actors who portrayed them so very well. Amazing show, great crew too, it couldn't have been pulled off without them! They rode off into the sunset on their "steel" horses, as heros do. How much more picture perfect can you get??? Rides off into the sunset as you say, HOWEVER, let's hope he surfaces in a third world country like Brazil who happens to have no extradition laws , and rides back into a medical situation again. Love that man. I found the ending had too many plot holes for what was normally an intelligently written show. How did he swap the dental records? He could not go back to the hospital after the fire, which meant the fire and the junkie's death were pre-planned. Why set fire to the building then take heroin? Never mind that he suffered no ill effects from the smoke and fire, and even with a bad leg managed to avoid falling beams. They should have killed him off and left him dead, his character flaws finally getting the better of him. Did anyone else notice the parallel to Sherlock Holmes' faked death? I'd like to take a poll here We don't know how much time lapsed between the fire and the funeral. He could have had a few days to sneak into the coroner's office. That would make more sense if House didn't really plan on killing himself. Plus, wouldn't his subconscience have know he was going to commit suicide, which would have made Kutner, CB and others trying to talk him out of it in the first place? Any thoughts?? House looked just too perfect on those steps. No burns. No soot. No singed hair. And most of all, no cane. The cane was gone because in death, House's pain was finally gone. And when Foreman found House's ID badge, it wasn't to indicate House was still alive, but instead to indicate that there is an after life. That countered Kutner's claim that death was a finality; making House win one last argument. House was sitting on the steps days after his "death". They had his funeral 1st. Sex and the City: Ranking the cast's success When Hugh Laurie directed 'House' He proceeds to tighten his vise grip on Wilson by freezing Wilson's bank account, towing his car, and revoking his drug prescription rights because he wants Wilson to testify against House in court. After Tritter discovers that Wilson refuses to betray House, he turns on to House's assistants, freezing Foreman and Cameron's accounts, before talking to each one of them in turn. Foreman and Cameron refuse to testify in court about House, but when Tritter talks to Chase, he makes it appear to the hospital staff as though they had had a pleasant lunch together. Chase is concerned that this makes Foreman and Cameron think that Chase has told Tritter something, although he had refused to, his only stated reason being that he would lose his job. Tritter finally succeeds in his goal when Wilson comes to him, requesting "thirty pieces of silver" in a symbolic statement of his decision to betray House, whom he has come to see as spiraling out of control. In the final days leading up to House's trial, House enters rehab. Tritter confronts him in rehab to see if he was really going through with it. When the charges against House were dropped at the trial, because Cuddy fabricated evidence that acquitted House, Tritter wished House good luck and said that he hoped he was wrong about him. Tritter did not appear on the show again. Amber Volakis Anne Dudek is an interventional radiologist featured in the 4th and 5th seasons as House's main antagonist. In House's competition to hire a new team, she is Volakis is willing to do anything to get the job, including acts of dishonesty. This is first seen when she apparently quits the competition and convinces a group of applicants to imitate her, rather than be humiliated by House; she returns moments later admitting it was a ruse to thin the herd. She is subsequently referred to as "Cutthroat Bitch" and "Bitch" by House throughout the season, and is even referred to as such on House's caller I. After the characters stop using this nickname, she is still almost always called by her first name, unlike the rest of the characters. She sometimes coerces Chase and Cameron, now reassigned to different departments of the hospital, into helping her. Her persistence and unorthodox approaches initially win her praise, but she is ultimately eliminated because House feels she cannot accept being wrong, something he says she would need to be able to accept on a regular basis if she were to work for him. Amber returns in "Frozen", when House discovers that she is Wilson's new girlfriend, a fact Wilson had been trying to conceal from House. House and Amber quickly develop an adversarial relationship, bickering over "shared custody" of Wilson. In the two-part season 4 finale episodes " House's Head " and " Wilson's Heart " , Amber is involved in a bus crash alongside House, who noticed symptoms of an unknown disease in her immediately before the crash. Dominika comforts him and soon they are making out. The phone rings and Dominika sees it's from Immigration and she grabs it before House can do anything. When she listens, she realizes immigration has been trying to get in touch with her for weeks and House has been hiding it. She moves out. She shows a happy House and Dominika in domestic bliss with their child. However, House puts an end to the fantasy by saying in this state, it's just as easy to surround himself with cheerleaders. House starts the year in prison, serving out a long term for his various misdeeds in Moving On. However, it turns out that he didn't even try to get a lesser sentence and took a one-year term without complaint. He blows a chance for early parole in order to prove a fellow patient's diagnosis. Although he plans to withdraw from the practice of medicine, it appears the real co-dependent relationship is between House and the hospital. With House looking at serving at least another six months, the new Dean of Medicine , Eric Foreman approaches House with an offer to return to work. House accepts the offer and gets out of prison, eventually reconnecting with a doctor who worked in the infirmary who he's made unemployable, Jessica Adams. With one new team member established, he soon meets a bright but timid resident , Chi Park , and adds her to his growing entourage of no-cost doctors as well. He receives a cold welcome from James Wilson , but after a cathartic punch to the nose, the two men reconnect. However, all is not well at the hospital. House is put on a short leash, and the hospital lacks the funding to provide him with a proper team. Park is his only employee, and House must convince Adams and other doctors to donate their services to help him. House seeks out wealthy patients who can provide him with funding, but the rest of the hospital staff is also working to push House to return to his bad behavior so that Foreman will have to fire him, resulting in House's return to jail. House gets the money to re-fund his department by pawning a piece of hospital equipment to bet on the market. He also helps Park avoid getting fired for hitting her previous boss. Chase eagerly returns, and even Taub prefers the excitement of saving lives to the routine of fixing noses. However, House initially tries to reconnect with Thirteen , he finally sends her off with her girlfriend to live in Greece. Taub has other problems. Both his ex-wife and ex-girlfriend are furious with him, and he's on the hook for two child support payments and one alimony payment. Not only that, the mothers choose the names Sophie and Sophia. In addition, Rachel announces that she wants to move to Seattle with her new boyfriend Phil and take Sophia with them. After a lot of soul searching, Taub refuses. The routine of weird cases continue until February. However, when treating a chemistry teacher, Chase and Adams are in the room when the patient suffers a psychotic break. In the melee, Chase is badly stabbed and the life-saving surgery nearly costs him the use of his legs as well. He takes a lengthy leave of absence and, when he returns, has an inappropriate relationship with a patient. When she leaves him to return to be a nun, Chase decides to return to the team. However, it's House soon having woman problems as his immigration wife Dominika returns from Atlantic City to tell House that the immigration authorities are coming to test whether their marriage is real. Unfortunately, they blow the test, but Dominika pleads that she loves House and asks that he not be punished. Doctors" paintball match. House would eventually diagnose the infarction himself. House could not forgive Stacy for making the decision after he obviously didn't want it, and this was the reason Stacy eventually left him. He also frequently takes Vicodin , a moderate to severe painkiller, to relieve his pain. When Stacy makes her first appearance in season 1, she is married to a high school guidance counselor named Mark Warner. In the season two finale " No Reason " one of House's former patients shoots him twice. At the beginning of season three, House temporarily regains his ability to walk and run after receiving ketamine treatment for his gunshot injuries. On a routine clinic visit, a police detective, Michael Tritter , is seen by House. Tritter observes House taking Vicodin for his pain and blames this for House's being rude and a bully. Tritter, believing doctors should be more responsible while practicing medicine, decides to take it upon himself to take legal action to free House of his addiction by launching an investigation into suspected drug abuse. House, being forcibly weaned off Vicodin to take a deal where he would keep his medical license, goes to extreme lengths to manage his pain by stealing Oxycodone from a cancer patient of Wilson's who had just died, giving Tritter what he needed to bring House to trial. At the pretrial hearing, the Judge decides House is not a danger to society and that his pain management for his leg is not as serious as Tritter made it seem. This conclusion is reached when Cuddy manufactures evidence and perjures herself to keep House out of jail. During season five, House once again regains his ability to walk without pain after taking methadone but soon stops after nearly killing a patient due to an uncharacteristic medical error. At the end of season five, House's use of Vicodin reaches a level in which House starts hallucinating about a former fellowship candidate who is also Wilson's dead girlfriend, Amber Volakis, and a relationship with Cuddy. When House comes to the conclusion Vicodin is making him hallucinate and is taking over his life, he checks himself into Mayfield Psychiatric Hospital. At the start of season six, after spending time in Mayfield, House stops taking pain medications and with the help of Dr. Darryl Nolan, finds other ways to deal with his pain and other aspects of his life. During his stay it is revealed by Dr. Nolan that House suffers from clinical depression , has antisocial tendencies, an inflated ego and severe trust issues. Nolan at one point even took House to a gathering in an effort to make House open up to people. To help manage his pain House finds a short-lived hobby in cooking. Thirteen Remy Hadley , Cuddy, and Wilson discover House is very good at his new hobby, attributing this to House thinking of ingredients in terms of chemistry. House eventually finds the one thing that seems to help the pain go away: After he diagnoses a patient online for his team without their knowledge , and shows Dr. Nolan how this reduces his pain, Nolan suggests House resume his practice. In season seven, when Cuddy, who is House's girlfriend at this point, has a brush with death, House goes back on Vicodin in order to cope with the fear of losing her. Near the end of season seven, House finds out the experimental drug he had been using caused fatal cancerous tumors in all of the lab rats in the experiment. He gets a CT scan of his leg and finds three tumors close to the surface of the skin in his leg. He goes home, cleans his bathroom, and attempts to perform surgery on himself to extract the tumors in his bathtub. In season eight, House finds himself in jail after running his car into Cuddy's house, which was shown in the ending of the season finale of season seven. There he finds his need for Vicodin is a weakness when an inmate makes House steal twenty pills of Vicodin or be killed. Throughout season eight, House's therapeutic use of Vicodin becomes more habitual, similar to his use before season five. The final season's opening episode partly explores what path an imprisoned House would take aside from practicing medicine, revealing physics as his other forte. He does this in order to avoid being sent back to prison for destroying an MRI machine in a prank gone wrong. The series ends with House and Wilson riding off into the countryside on motorcycles, as Dr. Chase takes over House's department. House frequently shows off his cunning and biting wit, and enjoys picking people apart and mocking their weaknesses. Critics have described the character as "moody", "bitter", "antagonistic", [39] " misanthropic ", [36] " cynical ", [40] " grumpy ", " maverick ", [41] "anarchist", "sociopath", and a " curmudgeon ". Laurie describes House as a character who refuses to "obey the usual pieties of modern life" and expects to find a rare diagnosis when he is treating his patient. Wilson, his only friend in the show, and House both avoid mature relationships, which brings the two closer together. Wilson is one of the few who voluntarily maintains a relationship with House, because he is free to criticize him. Although House's crankiness is commonly misattributed to the chronic pain in his leg, both Stacy and Cuddy have said that he was the same before the infarction. House openly talks about, and makes references to, pornography. Allison Cameron Jennifer Morrison , who once had a crush on him, is aware. House speaks multiple languages , demonstrating fluency in English, Spanish, [22] Russian , [57] Portuguese , [58] Hindi , [21] and Mandarin..

My guess is, if you're waiting for a "good show" like maybe something with either Snooky or Kim Kardashia, well, it's your prerrogative. Skidmark, it's obvious how you acquired your name. You weren't the intended audience, so your opinion hardly counts. It was an absolutely perfect ending. Loved it! It wasn't without flaws, but overall was a satisfying ending. I didn't miss one last appearance by Cuddy in the least and love seeing Sela Ward. I also thought the "Swan Song" farewell was beautifully done. I do hope Hugh and Robert get those Emmys. I haven't seen it, yet, under the impression that since I stopped watching it I wouldn't get anything from it. I hated House and Cuddy together so much that I stopped watched two seasons ago as well, but now I'll Hulu the finale. Fantastic and fitting finale! It made up for the show sucking so hard over the past few years and all of the shark-jumping. House and Wilson literally riding off itno the sunset was just brilliant. It was riveting. House finally confronted his demons and made the ultimate sacrifice for his friend and himself. I call that one of the best series finales ever on TV. A big shout out to Hugh Laurie, Robert Sean Leonard and the rest of the cast for a wonderful end to this series. I watched the finale last night, and the first thing I thought was "this is what House was like when House was good". I also realized that not watching the last two seasons didn't affect my ability to understand the finale. The finale was awesome, and a fitting send-off to the show and the characters. I may be the only person who watched who didn't miss Cuddy. No, I hated Cruddy, too. I stopped watching when that whole thing started. Leave the romance crap to the fat middle-aged broads who write fan fiction. You weren't. I was wondering if she'd show for old times sake, but something they said in the retrospective as one of the shows creators or whomever it was I think implied she really pi ssed them off on her way out As such, I didn't think Lucas would be there either, and Alvy showing up didn't make any sense, considering. I was surprised Dominica was there for the funeral. I agree with the author of the article, the whole introspection thing didn't make sense It would explain seeing Kutner and CTB again Hey, it's the end. For those of you who tuned out when House became Chuddy, the show, I mean, they were only together for a few episodes, as I recall, and House screwing up and sabotaging the relationship started off almost immediately. It's worth it to go back and watch, if for no other reason than to understand what led up to the big moment when House parks his car in Cuddy's living room. Well, when he looked in the window and saw them there, Cuddy and her friends, and a presumptive new boyfriend House had no reason to know about him Rachel could have wandered into the room, for all he knew, in theory, in the nearly a minute since he'd last peered through the window, got back in his car, told Wilson to get out, drove down the street, flipped the car around, stopped, reved the engine What he did was at the very least insanely irresponsible, and stupid, if not in point of fact with murderous intent. The fact no one was in the room, conveniently, was a little like House engineering the moment when Foreman and Wilson saw him "die", the swapped dental records, etc. The universe at large did the same thing Cuddy did so long, so often, what they all did, which was go out of their way to make sure House got away with whatever insanity he pulled. Does that make House the show different from Heros? Buffy TVS? The chicks on Charmed? Star Trek? I don't think so It didn't end the way I'd hoped, of course. I hoped they'd all end up in jail for all the people they'd murdered over the years. House has murdered at least two people, I think, one of whom was John Laroquet's character, if not murdered, then certainly he facilitated his suicide Remey "13" Hadley murdered her brother Foreman stabbed Cameron at one point with what he thought was a needle infected with an unknown but probably fatal disease Chase murdered the African dictator played by James Earl Jones Masters poisoned someone I can't remember whom Wilson killed, but I'm sure he killed someone. If nothing else, he aided and abetted House's afore mentioned murder "assisted suicide" of the father of Son of a Coma Guy Coma Guy himself when he helped establish House's alibi and then there's the whole hanging out with a guy who faked his own death to evade prosecution. If they're smart they left the US, and as they get ready to ride motorcycles off into the sunset, they're in some other country. A way in which it could have been done could have been that the guys trying to get House for drugs, and Tritter could have come back and done a months long secret sting operation, uncovered all these crimes, gotten all the people to roll on House, testify against each other to save their own skins with regard to House's drug use, while secretly preparing to nail them all for the various murders they committed But House, and here I mean the TV series died as it lived It didn't end how I'd have liked, but I did enjoy the ending, nevertheless and it's been an amazing ride, even if certain spots were tough to put up with like the "we're running out of time, better put House and Cuddy together I don't blame them for staying in fantasy land. The immigration officer gets angry and tells House and Dominika to be in his office the next morning. At that point, Dominika pleads with the immigration officer telling him not to do anything to House and, although the marriage was fake, she has grown to love him. House, on his lawyer's advice, stays silent. The immigration officer doesn't believe Dominika, but realizes a judge might and tells them they have one last chance - they will be making spot checks for six months to ensure they are living together. House is afraid that Dominika really has feelings for him, but Dominika tells him not to worry, but that she will need more closet space. House arrives home the next evening to find Dominika doing dancercise. Love is Blind: Meet The Parents. House decides to totally blow up the dinner by bringing Dominika along and revealing that he married her so she could get citizenship. Incredibly, both Blythe and Thomas are supportive as they both believe American immigration policy is faulty and both Blythe and Thomas find Dominika charming. This blows up dinner and drives a wedge between Blythe and Thomas as they argue about whether Blythe should have told Thomas and whether Thomas's assessment of House as a "pill-popping sociopath" is fair. After Thomas steps out, House asks who wants dessert and Dominika timidly raises her hand. We Need the Eggs: Real Feelings. And a funeral. But not as anyone might have expected. Earlier this year, she made her Broadway debut in a new production of She and husband Jason Sudeikis have had two children since the show ended: Harold and Kumar star Kal suddenly quit the show in season 5 — his character took his own life in a shock twist — after he amazingly took on a new role in Barack Obama's White House. Pretty neat, huh? In February , Penn acted as a co-chair for the re-election campaign of Obama. His speech encouraged young people to register to vote and defended Obama's record. He still acts, too. Fox demanded a bad guy to be added to the show, a few months before House went on a Christmas hiatus. Stacy Warner Sela Ward was Dr. House's former live-in girlfriend for five years , a Constitutional lawyer and Duke University graduate. Two years after their breakup, she married Mark Warner. She appears in 9 episodes during the run of season 2, taking a job at PPTH after asking Cuddy to make sure it was okay with Gregory House to be close to her husband during his recovery. House and Stacy's relationship has been strained due to his relentless attempts to prove she still has feelings for him. Mark aided House's cause by driving a wedge between himself and his wife when he suspects a brewing affair. Mark was eventually proven correct, as Stacy fell for House all over again and they slept together. As Stacy prepared to leave her husband for House, he then rejected her stating that he could not make her happy, because he could not change. She quit her job at the hospital and went back home to Short Hills with Mark. An enraged Wilson believed House broke her heart not out of guilt for Mark which is not his modus , but as a last-ditch resort to ensure that House does not allow himself happiness. The aftermath of this botched affair left House in a stark depression. Stacy did not appear on the show again, until the series finale "Everybody Dies". In the episode "Son of Coma Guy", when playing a questions game with a patient to make a diagnosis, House admitted that he had been in love once. He said they met when she shot him in a game of paintball, Doctors vs Lawyers. Presumably, House was talking about Stacy. When the patient asked if that was the only time he'd ever been in love, House avoided answering and changed the subject. However, it's House soon having woman problems as his immigration wife Dominika returns from Atlantic City to tell House that the immigration authorities are coming to test whether their marriage is real. Unfortunately, they blow the test, but Dominika pleads that she loves House and asks that he not be punished. Immigration gives them one more chance, but it means they have to live together for real. To House's surprise, he enjoys spending time with Dominika and when her citizenship is granted, he keeps this knowledge from her so she will stay. Unfortunately, she discovers the deception and leaves him. As for the other woman in his life, House works through some issues with his mother. She shows up in Princeton with her new fiance, Thomas Bell , a man who House has believed for forty years was his biological father. At a cathartic dinner, House reveals his immigration wife which Bell supports given the U. She also admits she and Bell got married shortly after John House died. House finally confronts her about Bell, and she admits she deceived both of them. After the initial shock, Bell reaches out to House. At the end of the series, it's House's most important relationship at stake when James Wilson reveals he has inoperable cancer. Despite being an oncologist , he rejects the conventional therapy for his thymoma and instead gets House to agree to try a short course of radical chemotherapy in order to shrink the tumor and make it operable. Wilson survives the treatment, but it doesn't work - the tumor remains inoperable, meaning that without treatment, Wilson will survive no longer than five months and, even with treatment, three years would be an exceptional lifespan. Given the options of spending two years in and out of hospitals or six months in fairly good health doing what he wants, Wilson opts not to accept treatment. House is furious and the men go back and forth on the matter, with Wilson changing his mind throughout. Eventually, House comes to terms with Wilson's choice and the two start to plan for their last few months together. At that point, Foreman drops a bombshell - because of a disastrous prank, House has to go back to jail for the next six months. Meanwhile, with House spending more time with Wilson, the team find themselves increasingly on their own. Chase starts to take the lead on the team, but when they treat one of his rivals, a doctor who was also up for the fellowship Chase received, Chase begins to re-examine his life and decides to leave the team at the end of the case. Finally realizing that he doesn't have to be exactly like House to be a great doctor, he starts using his own strengths and solves yet another case. Foreman offers him a promotion to stay, but Chase feels that he has to get out of House's shadow once and for all and leaves the hospital. With prison looming, House hatches a number of crazy schemes in an attempt to stay out of jail long enough to be with Wilson during the last months of his life. However, when they all fail, he comes up with the craziest scheme yet - faking his own death. This one works and he has the pleasure of texting Wilson during his own funeral to tell him to shut up..

If we had done this list a couple of years ago, Olivia probably would have been number one, but she has been rather quiet of late, raising a family. After playing Thirteen for five seasons in House , Olivia had already become one of the next female movie leads, appearing in the likes of Tron: Earlier this year, she made her Broadway debut in a new production of She and husband Jason Sudeikis have had two children since the show ended: Not needing a walker means freedom for me to dance and run the way I used to. Every episode of House takes us through a medical mystery that is always solved by the time the credits roll. I love how, in the end, the writer and creator of House, MD left us with with a mystery to solve on our own, as part of a team. This is great television. House had lost his fake wife, who he grew to love, his BFF was dying, he was battling his addition again, thanks to Creepy Cruddy I like her as an actress, but hated her character flaws , and could be sent back to prison at anytime. Had it not been for his love of Wilson, he might not have fought to survive. Nobody above seemed to realize that the final song — "Enjoy Yourself, it's later than you think" was at the core of the finest moment of the finest episode of House, season 5's "Under My Skin. Turns out it was all a hallucination. And we learn that when he's sitting in a diner, and suddenly Amber is on stage, beautifully lit dark and scary, singing slow and sweet "Enjoy yourself, it's later than you think. Fast Forward to the ending — Cab Calloway singing the same thing in a much more upbeat version. That was fantastic. I lost House and Kristin Wiig in less than 48 hours, what will I watch now???? I realized it was the same song, and I agree about that being one of the best moments of the show. I was thrilled with the final episode. As long as Cameron and especially Amber came back, I would have been satisfied. Did anybody else notice the reference to Dead Poets Society? Plus, it's kind of a message the show is leaving us with: Everybody dies. Enjoy yourself Janet, Didn't he lose his cane when he fell thru the floor? I liked the ending, thought it was written well. Glad they rode off, till death do they part, Wilson needed House. The ending had it's flaws, YES, just like the main character did. Lisa wasnt in the last season cause they wouldn't give her a raise, if i read correctly and recall, they wanted her to come back making "less" and she said no. The ending was appropriate and I enjoyed it. I have enjoyed House throughout all eight seasons. Like any intelligent series that has run this long, the strain in the writing begins to show, but the performance of Mr. Laurie and company never wavered. Sorry to see it end, but as Mr. Laurie said, it was time, and it was good to end it on their terms. I guess i must have started watching a different show. I thought it was crummy, and boring, and switched off early. The House and Wilson characters have always seemed to me to be the most well-developed and well-acted , so I was content with the focus of the end of the series. I haven't read the entire blog so may be repeating what has already been said. I thought that House did die in the fire and the end was Wilson imagining House as he would have liked him to be in life. Surely much more plausible Of course, it's all fiction anyway so there is no 'real' answer. The Article states a good question. Why the internal trip and all the talking to the dead if he was not suicidal to begin with? Did he or didn't he plan the whole thing? Based on the past, of course. It seems to me the whole thing was planned but upon waking up from his heroin party he forgot why he was there another puzzle. Well he sobered up a bit and remembered. That is when he made his escape. So, the final puzzle was saving himself. It was planned from the start with a brief drug induced forgetfullness. Que the dead. With enlightenment in his eyes he declared "but I can change. Because if he didn't "play" with the idea it would have been just plain boring. I loved how it ended when he flew off into the sunset in his private jet singing and drinking a beer. I thought that was a cool ending. IT'S over but felt pretty good after, house finaly releaved of his medical responsabilitys might just develop into something different as far as a human being. Pehaps wilson will live five years not five months maybe house will eventualy tell his russian wife how he reaily felt, I thought she was his best foil ever, ufortunatley it will be probably from a jail cell because he may get several years in prision for fraud Loved the ending but wish that they played the angle of wilsons cancer more in the season. Beginning was pretty interesting while house had his ankle bracelet on, then things got kinda boring during the middle. When things started to develop with the other characters, they announced wilsons cancer and kind of left everyone else out, without really finishing any of those story arcs. They could of did more episodes leading up to the last 2, but overall, the finale was very satisfying. I would have handled the finale differently myself, simply by adding one scene after Wilson's and House's "ride into the sunset": It would have given the finality the series deserved. Your suggested ending would have violated the whole atheist theme that ran through the entire series. House wouldn't have been the only one furious to find out there was an afterlife! But Marco, I believe that IS what happened It exploded as soon as his head popped up! Plus, when he met Wilson on the steps, he had no cane. House is seen supposedly crushed by burning debris, the place explodes, and yet, and yet, House sprinted to the rear of the place — let's say to a rear exit feet from where he stood — a second before this all happened. Just slipped out thru the rear. May as well have written that it was all a dream. I have been a fan of this show from the start. I am going to miss it. The ending was extremely well done and uplifting for all involved. Excellent writing, acting, casting, sets, I can't say enough good about this show. A well deserved congratulations to all involved for a job well done. Very pleased with the finale! Liked the way Wilson and Foreman finally took a stand and were able to firmly tell House "No'. That was the difference, in previous seasons anyone that tried to be firm ultimately and predictably caved. The visitations by past characters represented aspects of House that he didn't like to dwell on: By this point in his life, House had bottomed out and knew all he did have was a pure friendship that he had taken for granted for years. My thought is he planned on faking his death soon, before he joined the patient for the drug party, but did not plan on the fire trapping him. In his mind he was pretty much "dead" anyway so that freed him up some to face thoughts and feelings he had been able to avoid for years. Very sad to see the end of this show but glad Mr. Shore was able to control how it ended instead of it abruptly ending with many questions left for fans. Congratulations to the entire cast and crew for meaningful entertainment! I didn't mind the Cuddy arch, but after he ran the car into the house, that was what turned me off I tried to tune back in, but I hated the new characters and just stopped watching. But I tuned into the series finale and I'm glad I did. It was a very fitting end to the series. I look forward to seeing Hugh Laurie and the cast members in other roles. I thought it was a very fitting end for the series. He picked his best friend, showed he had real feelings for Wilson, and rode off into the sunset. His retrospect allowed us to remember how he lived his whole life, afraid to be involved, get hurt or show emotion I thought it was great. I laughed, I cried and felt a great relief at the end. Well done. I love Hugh Laurie's character. He deserves an Emmy for being always an outstanding actor here. I will miss this very intelligent and worthwhile show. House is the one I always look forward to watching. Tough act to folllow. This is for those who didn't like the finale; you have to look at the artistic side of the finale. House has always been about him, he couldn't even be by Cuddy when she though she had cancer but, Wilson was ALWAYS there for him and this is the only part in the entire series that house did something on his own that wasn't selfish. Sure, he let 13 walk as a non-selfish act but that was after he had convinced her to stay, he figured out the puzzle. In the finale he went through a self search through all of the images of his co-workers. House always cared about the puzzle and nothing else, this time he just cared about his best friend's death by sacrificing everything he had all the puzzles of being a Doctor as well as his free life by faking his death. For those who liked the finale and feel sad the adventures ended, like I; just remember what House taught us through the years, this lesson is personalized by the viewer so I won't give a speech of what I learned. Congrats to the writers. I scoured the internet for someone else who noticed this SH as well but to no avail. Seems like true House fans are rare! Good job for picking it up! Worst finale ever. Nothing like the quality of the rest of the series. I think the writers were angry they were getting the axe but were contractually obligated to make the final show. David Shore, the creator and the guy that decided to end the series instead of find a new network or bid for renewal, wrote the episode. Your argument is invalid. I loathed show from the beginning, and hated the way it trivialized the disease. Over and over, it demonstrated no respect or care for people undergoing onerous treatment, for people in fear. I stopped watching House. L can sing and play wonderfully! II missed the finally, but was going to catch it on my brothers DVR. Not liking what im hearing here! Production of Season 8 was somewhat delayed and the season did not begin airing until October 3, Part of the issue was that without a firm deal to continue the series, NBC Universal only had Hugh Laurie and Olivia Wilde under contract to appear in any following season. Jesse Spencer was in negotiations longer, but finally agreed to a new contract. However, Lisa Edelstein announced she would not be returning and instead joined the cast of The Good Wife. The finale was co-written and directed by series creator David Shore. The last few episodes focused heavily on a Hilson story line. Among the story threads that were picked up from Season 7 were:. Dominika is not seen for almost a season, however she returns in season 8's " Man of the House ", due to her upcoming marriage status interview. House later realizes that she is suffering from poisoning from her use of flu pills containing amantadine , along with the kidney failure caused by the crash. She dies in Wilson's arms due to multiple organ failure. Amber is absent from only two episodes in the fourth season. Amber re-appears as House's hallucinated helper at the end of the episode " Saviors ," and in the succeeding episode " House Divided ," where House continues to see her. Wilson suggests House might have Asperger syndrome , which is characterized by a number of traits found in House, such as difficulty accepting the purpose of social rules, lack of concern for his physical appearance, and resistance to change; though he later reveals to House that he does not truly believe this, and that claiming this was a part of a ploy to soften Cuddy's opinion of House. While the show was originally set to be a medical procedural , the idea changed when the writers started to explore the possibilities of a curmudgeonly title character. Cathy Crandall, costume designer for the show, created a look for the character that made it seem like he did not care about his clothing. When casting for the part started, Shore was afraid that in "the wrong hands", House would "just be hateful". Similarities between House and the famous fictional detective Sherlock Holmes appear throughout the series; [93] Shore explained that he was always a Sherlock Holmes fan, and found the character's traits of indifference to his clients unique. Shore has also explained that the name "House" is a play on the name "Holmes" via its phonetic similarity to the word "homes". The pun does not extend to the meaning of the names, as the surname "Holmes" actually denotes that its initial bearers lived near or worked with holly or holm-oak trees, such that "Holl[e]y" or "Oak[e]s" would be a more literal equivalent. John Watson and Dr. James Wilson, respectively. Meanwhile, House is interviewing for a new favorite hooker, since his current favorite, Emily, has decided to get married and leave the business. However, Wilson wants House to concentrate on Dominika instead. The team treats a young Asian boy whose grandfather is convinced he has been possessed by an evil spirit. House, after hiding from Dominika the fact that she's received her citizenship and is free to leave him, has to confront his feelings for her and the sudden increased intimacy of their relationship. However, it appears that Dominika may have been keeping things from House as well. Speaking of intimacy, Park and Chase start having dreams about each other and those spill out into the dynamic between the team members. When the team takes on the case of Emily, a six-year-old girl who has numerous preexisting health problems, they must work with her mother Elizabeth, who is a doctor who specializes in her daughter's condition. She eventually left House when she obtained citizenship, but only because he had withheld this from her for several weeks after he was notified. Unlike House, Dominika is friendly, outgoing, kind and happy to please people. In addition to being a great massage therapist, she is also a very good cook and loves baking for people. She empathizes quickly with people and, again unlike House, realizes when people's feelings have been hurt and wants to make it up to them. Surprisingly, she and House enjoy doing many things together and often have a similar idea of what they think is fun. Dominika is also very athletic and works out regularly doing dance aerobics to 80's music. She is often easily upset, but is very slow to get angry. She is not House's intellectual equal, but is imaginative and quick thinking. Dominika was born in Ukraine in while it was still a republic of the Soviet Union. She is the daughter of Kateryna and Andriy Petrov. She has one older sister, Iryna, and three brothers - Volodymyr, Oleksiy and Fedir. Sometime during her early adult years, she worked as a police officer for a year and became an excellent shot as a result. Karolina Wydra had a difficult job - a native speaker of Polish pretending to be a native speaker of Ukrainian who can't speak English perfectly. It's clear that Dominika has trouble with some aspects of English, but has a good vocabulary and has no problem making herself understood. However, it's easy to fake what are known as "L1" errors - errors that are related to the person's native language and how it is structured. Dominika does drop her helper verb "will", but properly uses the article "an". A native English speaker might say:. Was it just a season finally, or is the show caput??? Show is done and over,Yes. But real life is better than reel life! It was a gutsy finish. It was a fitting end but not quite what I was expecting. The show has always toyed with the dark edges of human nature and I did expect there would be a real possibility House would be killed. One of the most riveting scenes was Cameron telling House it was okay to let go and end it because he had suffered enough. Hate to see the show go. Nothing else quite like it. Doctors all over America can give a big sigh of relief for not having to hear about an eccentric Doctor who is quirky and able to diagnose diseases Very good ending to a series. I've been a long time fan, like the rest in this thread. Very creative and a befitting ending. House and Wilson deserve the ride into the sunset. House wasn't pranking Wilson. He truly was suicidal. But he decided he could change—quite a huge development for House. To plant the body and change dental records it was clear to me House wasn't going to kill himself thinking back. IFolks, i like episodes that bear stark reality to real life medical situations! I just have to say that i think the producers are straying way to far from reality in the fact that house being able to practice medicine after some of the fiascos he creates and gets legally caught in are just too out there!! Its kind of ruining my comfort level for the show. Now, Cuddy!! Just who has been the most responsible for keeping house just inside the boundries of getting in too deep on some of his ventures?? She has also been there from the start and needs a permanent role here!!! How many people quit watching ER after they lost all the regualr actors from the series??? Are you getting it now? Stats speak for themselves! One good way to ruin a great show is to start changeing all the faces!!! And, if it gets any more outside the realm of reality, it will change the show i know as house and ill lose intrest!! Allot to think about here producers!!! Dont stray too far outside producing and learn by the mistakes of ER and its face changes! I would like to see house be a much longer running series! If it still has the ratings, then its not broke! Dont try to fix it in extremes! At first I was surprised at the ending. But then again, House always finds away to manipulate the situation to work to his advantage. Typical of House when you really think about it! Stacey was not House's ex-wife, she was his ex-girlfriend. They lived together for years but they never married. I think the journey did matter because House was sucicdal in the begiing. He had every intention of killing himself in the begining, which is why all those people aka his subconsciouns was trying to justify it or talk him out of it. I think it was only when the building exploded that he hatched his plan to let everyone think he was dead so he could aviod jail and spend Wilsons last months with him. Great series — mainly because of the writing. Very disappointed with the series finale. Typical bad writing seen in other shows that resort to fantasy to solve problems caused by the bad writing I don't think I can pinpoint another show where drug-induced hallucinations were so required to communicate the complexities of the character. I also don't think that they were resorting at all to 'fantasy' when they used departed characters to present his inner turmoil and near-suicidal thoughts. I also don't think it counts as 'fantasy' when both House and the audience are perfectly aware that those people are only projections of his subconscious All that started superbly ended superbly; I still have difficulty accepting that House is finished but I know that most of the cast especially HL will of course only improve with time just like a fine wine. I enjoy a fine reisling personally! Good luck in future endeavours to all of the cast from House. You've made my life a lot brighter and well the show was just brilliant; all involved have so very much to be proud of! I will miss you all! I have never taken the time to post to anything like this before, but I feel compelled to share my loss with all the fans that probably feel the same way. I loved that House and Wilson rode off together. It is how it should be. I was a little disappointed in some of it, but the ending was perfect. I have never been so devoted to a show in my life. I think it's because of how well I related to House. Although he was an "ass" as Wilson put it, you always knew there was a good guy underneath it all. I sure hope a movie is the works I'll be the first in line. Everything you've said here also applies to me; I'm glad that we could share these eight years together with Hugh and House and everyone else that was part of the show and everyone that felt like we have and still do. I did not get that Foreman knew he was alive, in fact who is the third? Also did not get why House was in the burning building. Have to say though that it was a great ending to the show — one of the best episodes. Gregory House It was a great season with a great ending. And, it didn't matter that Cuddy didn't appear because House' real love was his best friend Wilson. It all was a perfect ending to a near perfect romance Steve Dunn: With the addict's help, House had ample time to switch the dental records before going to the warehouse to get loaded with the addict. I believe the addict O. House probably assisted, or at least didn't stop him. Now House has a body to go with those switched dental records, a body that would be mistaken for his. A bit. But still effective. He was gonna take the fall for him, and he was gonna die until house told him that he wasn't symmetrical. House saved the guy. How they ended up taking heroine together no one really knows. This was a story of redemption. House had to hit rock bottom before he ever could rise up again. He was about to lose his best friend, had lost his "wife" whom he came to care about , he was about to lose his career and head off to prison and did heroin in some hulk of a abandoned building. Can't go much lower than that. Then he made the supreme sacrifice for him- his job was his life and gave it all up for his dying friend. A brilliant, poignant ending to a great show. It felt satisfying as it had a House-ian twist and we can still imagine what mischievous things House will be up to in the future Ciao House ci hai accompagnato per 8 anni , ci mancherai ma sarai sempre ricordato come il M. D number one. As a fat middle aged broad who is planning to write a House fan fiction in the near future , I find your comment offensive , I loved Cuddy , and even though I am not a shipper , I was happy that she and House got together , if only for a few episodes. I knew that the romance would not last and I was hoping the producers and writers would extend the Huddy relationship until the end of season seven , but that was not to be , I guess. As much as I would have liked Lisa Edelstein back , of the three episodes I saw this season , I found she wasn't needed in many of the storylines , as this final season , or at least the final story arc , was all about House and Wilson 's relationship with each other and that , to me , was the real heart of the series all in all. Going back to my plan to write fan fiction , the story or stories I have plan will not involve romance , or if there is romance , it will be done as an afterthought , just letting you know. I think the finale was wonderful. I have watched House since the beginning and loved all of it I must say that I did envision them together Perhaps had he impregnated her instead it would have been better. Anyway, sad that House is over I think that the patient probably fell asleep with a burning cigarette in this hand or mouth. They showed that he has a habit of doing that. I did miss Cuddy! Why didn't Cuddy show? I thought the series and especially this last episode was very well put together and very well acted out and I'm sorry to see it go of the air, I will miss seeing it even though I didn't always catch every episode, I thought Hugh Laurey was the perfect pick for the main character. I didn't start watching house until its 5th season and it has become one of my all-time favorites. Having said that, I feel strongly that the series finale deserved better. The first 30 minutes of the episode were absolutely pointless and while it was nice to see all of those characters return, it was confusing for a moment there, I was scanning my memory trying to remember whether Sela Ward's character had been killed off because House always hallucinates with dead people. I feel that a more satisfying to fans finale could have been made. I would have liked to have seen what happened to House down the road. Perhaps a House movie would provide some closure. They could make a movie about House who now practices medicine on some Caribbean island or runs a lab somewhere in England where he very convincingly fakes a British accent. To me a very satisfying series finale was the final episode of "Scrubs" season 8. Now that's a finale done right! THAT is when the tears threatened to come as they usually do when I hear it. I thought the final episode was great I also enjoyed the retrospective before the actual episode, when Hugh Laurie made sure that the entire crew along with the cast got their due. I love House. I watched since it came on it was my favorite sorry to see it leave but I am so glad House and Wilson got to be together at the end thats what real friendship is about,Being there for each other. It ending just as I expected...

Stacy made her final appearance, her first in six seasons, in the series finale " Everybody Dies " as both a hallucination of House and an attendee of his funeral.

Here, Stacy revealed that she had "never stopped loving" House. After House refuses to run tests at Tritter's request and insults him, Tritter trips House. House agrees to the tests and tells Tritter he has to check his temperature to rule out infection. It ending just as I expected.. House would find away Great job and Thanks for giving us this great show for 8 years LOVED it!! I wasn't as avid a watcher as I was in the beginning but I didn't miss many episodes. I got frustrated when the writers put House and Cuddy in a relationship. For a minute I kind of wanted Cuddy to show last night but in the end I'm glad she didn't. The ending, as stated above in the article, was implausible. How could he have appeared at the window of the burning building, and within seconds, or so it seemed, the building explodes. How could have House escaped out the back, intact, when he walked with a cane and the whole building was engulfed in flames? My thoughts exactly — seems to not have been enough time. Also, how did House, while supposedly dead, manage to switch dental records with his previous patient did they both go to the same dentist? My thought's exactly. There was no way humanly possible that he could have made it out that fast, except being in a staged movie scene. It should have been made more realistic, so these comments would not be raised. I'm disappointed in whoever wrote that part of the scrip. Although it was a little different than what I expected the irony of House finally doing something unselfish meant he had to go to the extreme to do it just sums up Gregory House in one span. I watched all 8 seasons and this was a great show. I know I watched many of times seeing House be such an ass but I always felt great when he was always outsmarting everybody. This show was the absolute best and I will miss it dearly and I loved that they didn't compromise House's demeanor to sell a sweet ending. I thought this ending was really predictable! Knowing that House is based off of Sherlock Holmes, one of the most recognizable books is the Reichenbach Fall, where Sherlock fakes his own death. What's more, the series Sherlock just ended their second season with this. I was surprised that House hadn't done this earlier, leaving me to believe that it was bound to occur at some point. Did anyone else notice this? I had the same reaction, as I am a Sherlock Holmes fan, and I had just watched the Sherlock finale as well. I never really felt that he was dead, but the ending was fitting. House finally puts another person before himself, albeit when people finally stand up to him Foreman and Wilson in this case. But I think the writers got it right. All the questions weren't answered, but just enough of them were. The 'book' you're thinking of is The Final Problem. Moffat and Gatiss took that story and turned it into the Richenbach Falls for the tv show. I loved it. Very sad that it's over, but looking forward to watching re-runs for years to come. Who knows, maybe Hugh will decide he misses it and make some dramatic comeback. A huge "thank you" to everyone involved in the show. It was a regular part my Monday nights for 8 years. Well done!! I'd like to see a movie that has House finding a cure for Wilson, and somehow still practicing medicine. I liked the ending even though House's escape and record switching was just a bit too facile. Thanks to cast and crew for many wonderful seasons! What a show! I laughed and cried through the whole episode. I have been an avid fan of House from the beginning and it's hard to believe it's over. House faked being suicidal? I thought the ending was superb! Glad house figured out a way to get those final months with Wilson, only he could have figured a way out. Will miss this fabulous show! Stacy was never House's wife so she couldn't be an exwife. She was just a live-in girl friend. I was very disappointed that Cuddy did not appear at least somewhere in the finale. Does anyone here know why not? Also, I may be alone on this, but I felt the final few minutes were not "real" at all, and were not intended to be but perhaps were a wish-fulfilment fantasy on the part of a very sick Dr Wilson possibly near the end of his battle with cancer as I noted that the House that showed up on the steps staring at Wilson had no cane?? Yes, me too. I'm quite dissapointed that Cuddy didn't show up. While saying in an interview saying she "will be there for as long as the show continues", she completely dissapeared from the last season. Such a shame! Cuddy and House getting together threw a lot of people off. But, they were only together for a couple episodes. You should have hung in there. Knowing how he is, you should have known he would have destroyed the relationship quickly and gone back to normal. Cuddy was no longer there after he drove his car threw her house. I figure a perfect ending to segway into a movie: Wilson's Final Months'. And then, a new series or maybe another movie with an 'unknown' doctor doing miracle cures at some free hospital or clinic in some far corner of the world!!! I love the "House: Wilson's last months" idea. I'm totally all for that!! Whose going to write it? I thought the ending was fantastic. However, I was hoping that David Morse would make an appearance. The season where he had a recurring role was the show's best, in my opinion. Brains over brawn; macabre humor over pratfalls; great characters and Hugh Laurie - a great ride for 8 years; and the ending was superb! I've never seen House before.. Very compelling. I mean, I knew he was a curmudgeonly character, etc. I don't live under a rock , but I didn't need to know much else to be drawn in. As someone else said, it wasn't without flaws, but very well done. That show was awful and I'm glad it's gone now!!! Maybe they'll put something worth watching on the air. OK, I'll feed one of the many the trolls. I believe your comments echo your name. I'll leave the rest to House, "Shut up, you idiot. I am sorry that the show, House has ended. It was the only show on tv that actually knew what they were doing. Take Grey Anatomy, Scrubs.. He was contemplating allowing himself to die in the burning warehouse he found himself in alongside his most recent patient. The patient, a proud drug abuser, had been saved by House and his team, but now lay dead next to House. So somebody did die. Foreman and Wilson managed to track House down just as he decided to live, and seemingly watched him perish moments before the warehouse exploded. So there was a funeral. Dental records for the body pulled out matched House and he was declared dead. The team must also deal with the battles raging between Emily's mother and father who have conflicting views on how to handle her health issues. When searching the family's home for clues to Emily's illness, the team realizes that Elizabeth's determination to cure her daughter could be the very thing that is killing her. Meanwhile, House and Wilson deal with Wilson's stage two cancer at House's apartment. Wilson feels that going forward with the more radical treatments first would be the best way to deal with it instead of dying a slow death, and this puts his life in jeopardy. The team takes on the case of Dr. Peter Treiber guest star Jamie Elman , a pathologist at Princeton-Plainsboro Teaching Hospital who knows too much about the hospital staff to trust any of the physicians. The only person he does respect is House. Wilson has decided not to wait around Princeton-Plainsboro for his test results. He buys a new car and convinces House, by threatening to drug him and take him along anyway, to go on an unannounced road trip with him. Leaving their phones behind, this results in House's "mysterious" disappearance. House decides to take advantage of Wilson's condition to get some sympathy from the people they meet. With House in absentia, the team has to figure out how to treat Treiber while making him believe that House is calling all the shots. It becomes even more difficult when it turns out that the patient has a grudge against Chase, and this just forces Chase to confront his own choices in life. The team takes on the case of Derrick guest star Skylar Astin , a year-old college student who had a mysterious nose bleed during cheerleading practice, and discovers that his health issues are likely both physiological and psychological. Wilson becomes resigned to his fate, but House does not. Meanwhile, Foreman tries a different approach with House. All this results in House showing atypical behavior, even for him. In a retrospective episode, we take a look at how the show was produced, with Hugh Laurie as the guide through the complexity and the series' success over the eight years it lasted. House is remarkably upbeat, even though it's probably the last day of his freedom. His treatment of a drug addict patient guest star James LeGros results in House examining his life, his future and his own personal demons. House imagines "Amber" may have been trying to murder Chase, he takes the sleeping pill at the end of the episode, but he finds he is still seeing her, and in the next episode " Under My Skin " it appears his hallucinations are due to his use of Vicodin and he must detox. In the season finale, after it is exposed that House hallucinated his detoxification, Amber re-appears. Amber made her final appearance, her first in three seasons, in the series finale " Everybody Dies ", as a hallucination of House and not able to participate in the team. Lucas Douglas Michael Weston is a private investigator. Among other things, he finds out about a secret bank account started up by Taub's wife of which Taub is unaware. Impressed by his thorough efforts, House decides to put Lucas "on retainer. Lucas, though, had also begun to take a romantic interest in Cuddy. In "Lucky Thirteen", House uses him to spy on Wilson because he suspects he was lying about where he was one morning. Lucas finds out that he's dating a hooker and that he's doing drugs. House then figures out Wilson was trying to throw him off because he knew Lucas was following him. It is also revealed that Lucas got the keys to all of his fellows' houses. Michael Weston reprises the role of Lucas during season six in the episode " Known Unknowns ". In the season 6 finale, Cuddy breaks off her engagement with him and ends their relationship so that she can be with House. Rachel Taub Jennifer Crystal Foley is Chris Taub's wife and has appeared in several episodes, mostly dealing with her husband's infidelity. She reveals to Chris that she is pregnant in the seventh season. In season eight, she wants to move across country with her new boyfriend and her and Taub's daughter, but Taub tries to stop them. Sam Carr Cynthia Watros is Wilson's first wife, whom he starts dating again in season six. Comedian and musician Charlyne joined the cast of House for its final season as one of House's quirky new team members. Like her co-star Odette Annable, who joined at the same time, she didn't have much time to cement herself as one of the more memorable characters. Since then, she has mainly concentrated on her writing and comedy work, but in terms of acting roles she featured in episodes of Looking, Jane the Virgin and the new Twin Peaks. She also voices Ruby in Steven Universe. Robert was already a well known face thanks to roles in movies like Dead Poets Society and Much Ado About Nothing by the time he landed the role as House's long-suffering best mate. At first, Laurie figured that Wilson was actually the main character, as he thought no-one would want to watch a show where the main character was a git. The series ended with Wilson sadly dying of cancer, before he and his old pal literally rode off into the sunset together..

When the charges against House were dropped at the trial, because Cuddy fabricated evidence that acquitted Does house get married, Tritter wished House good luck and said that link hoped he was wrong about him.

Tritter did not appear on the show again. Amber Volakis Anne Dudek is an interventional radiologist featured in the 4th and 5th seasons as House's main antagonist. In House's competition to hire a new team, she is Volakis is willing to do anything to get the job, including acts of Does house get married.

There was a lot of speculation that House might die during the " House " 8 p. ET on Fox.

After the characters stop using this nickname, she is still almost always called by her first name, unlike the Does house get married of the characters.

She sometimes coerces Chase and Cameron, now reassigned to different departments of the hospital, into helping her. Does house get married persistence and unorthodox approaches initially win her praise, but she is ultimately eliminated because House feels she cannot accept being wrong, something he says she would need to be able to accept on a regular basis if she were to work for him.

Amber returns in "Frozen", when House discovers that she is Wilson's new girlfriend, a fact Wilson had been trying to conceal from House. House and Amber quickly develop an adversarial relationship, Does house get married over "shared custody" of Wilson.

Dominika was only positively identified as Ukrainian in Man of the House. In that episode, she also proudly displays items showing her cultural heritage, such as a portrait of the great Ukrainian literary figure Taras Shevchenko. However, prior to Season 8, there was much dispute about Dominika's true nationality. Wydra herself is Polish, but while "Dominika" is a Polish name, "Petrova" is not. Dominika is also used as a common first name for females of Slovak origin, such as tennis player Dominika Cibulkova. Fall From Grace: The Quick Marriage. As they go to leave on House's Segway, House announces that he and Dominika will be getting married that Friday, leaving the entire team in shock. He soon makes it known to Wilson that the marriage will be a sham and that he's marrying Dominika so she can eventually get United States citizenship and an immediate work permit. Cuddy is reluctant, but Dominika ingratiates herself by offering Cuddy an almond kulich. Cuddy signs the forms, reminding House if the marriage doesn't go through he's just committed insurance fraud. House has also been known to act as a mooch at times, frequently stealing food from Wilson. In " You Don't Want to Know ", while House is searching for the cause of Thirteen's twitching, he claims to have stolen money from her wallet. In another episode, he reveals to Wilson that he's been borrowing larger and larger sums of money from him without paying him back, just to see at what point Wilson would turn him down. After he had watched casting tapes for the pilot episode , Bryan Singer grew frustrated and refused to consider any more British actors because of their flawed American accents. House draws inspiration from Dr. Joseph Bell who was a teacher of Arthur Conan Doyle's and thus a chief source of inspiration for the creation of Holmes , who could "walk into a waiting room and diagnose people without speaking to them". Throughout the series' run, the character received positive reviews. House was featured on several best lists. From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia. For other uses, see Gregory House disambiguation. Amber was briefly a main cast member in season 7, and returned for a stint in the final season, having already made a name for herself in the likes of Joan of Arcadia, General Hospital and others. Omar starred in all eight seasons as the constantly annoyed and fed up Foreman, having previously featured in ER and various movies in the s and early s. Taub was one of those characters who you thought would only be in a couple of episodes, but somehow managed to hang on until the bitter end. We're guessing it's because everyone loved Peter on the set. Odette joined the cast in the final season, and if you weren't paying attention you probably just assumed she was Olivia Wilde. She was recently cast as the next big villain Reign in Supergirl 's upcoming third season. AKA 'Cutthroat Bitch', Amber appeared in season 4 and 5, and was Wilson's girlfriend for a while until she was killed off in a car crash brought on by accidental poisoning. She currently stars as Tracy Brand in The Flash.
